North and South Bubble Mountains, Acadia National Park

Hiking the Bubble Mountains in the Winter

The Bubble Mountains in Acadia National Park are some of our favorite hikes in the park. The views are amazing and the hikes are fun and relatively short. North and South Bubble mountains are especially great when you are one of the only ones out there! This is why we love hiking them in the late fall, winter, and early spring!

How to access the Bubble Mountains in the Winter

You’ll have to access Acadia National Park using the winter access points. You can gain access by heading to the Jordan Pond Road in Seal Harbor. You can put the Mount Desert Fire Department – Seal Harbor Station in your GPS to find it. Drive down the road until you reach the Park Loop road, then take a left and go until you reach the Jordan Pond Parking Area!
