Hey hey it’s DD! Paddy Murphy’s is one of my favorite places to get a drink + a bite to eat any day of the week. Great beer, awesome food, warm ambiance + friendly waitstaff make this place a must-see when you’re in Bangor. It’s especially awesome on Sunday afternoons for a few reasons – It’s Acoustic Lunch – Angela, our good friend and bartender is working – & it’s $5.00 Bloody Mary Day! Paddy Murphy’s is a great place to chill with a group of any size + the locals are friendly 🙂 I went with a group of friends a few Sundays back + we had a great time, as always. The menu has recently been updated + it did not disappoint!
We love their bloodies – Angela makes them to order, and they are seasoned perfectly, with the right amount of spice. The burgers are legendary! You can get them dressed in many different varieties. They are famous for their chicken fingers as well, and I personally love their french fries. Their sweet potato fries are also very popular and delicious. Make sure you get some sort of dipping sauce for your fries – they have a variety of unique and tasty sauces available.
Paddy Murphy’s menu has something for everyone – a large list of appetizers, with a great sampler platter – sandwiches, burgers, soups, salads, and full dinner options. I believe that the menu has been updated – but the majority of these options listed on the online menu are still available – see it here.
Paddy Murphy’s is a great place to catch live music and entertainment any day of the week. Check out the chalkboard by the bar/bathrooms if you’re in the restaurant for the “Rumpus” – or you can see more information on their facebook page for upcoming events!
Reservations are generally not needed, weekends can get busy but there’s an additional dining room upstairs that is open on the weekends – it’s also available for special events!
